Neighbourhood Real Estate

About the Market

St. Andrews/Lockport offers a unique rural lifestyle. A big portion of the population commutes to Winnipeg, Selkirk and surrounding areas for work and education. The Real Estate prices range anywhere from $89,000-$1,900,000 and up depending on location. With an average sale price of $680,000 homes are usually on the market for around 28-45 days. The R.M of St. Andrews recently introduced the low pressure sewage system, thus replacing most of the older septic fields that had short lifespans remaining. The biggest benefit to this was the easy maintenance for homeowners once hooked up, and elimination of the costly repairs to the standard old fields.

Community Activities

Located in the heart of St Andrews Manitoba, the St Andrews Community Club is home to a number of summer and winter sports as well as other recreational activities throughout the year.

Did you know that The St Andrews Community Club was built by the community for the community in 1965?

A number of residents thought so highly of the need for a quality recreation centre for their community that they pooled their money. In some cases, taking out a second mortgage on their homes, just to get the community centre built. To this day the Community Club is owned by the community.

The St Andrews community is rich with such resources – enthusiastic volunteers are found in all facets. If you are looking to get involved contact the Volunteer Coordinator and find out how you can help. Feel free to contact us if you have any comments or questions. We are always pleased to be of assistance in any way possible. Together we do make a difference!
